Medical pendant installation position is designed according to operating room environment, no fixed position. If the installation position can bring convenience to surgery, then the position is ok. Besides, some problems should be noted when install it, such as the distance between 2 equipments, or the effect of the device used in surgery.
Where the medical pendant is installed directly affects its function, if the installation position is not good, then it will not work very well. So where is it installed? In general, its position is not very fixed, which is mainly based on the layout of the operating room. In the surgery, a lot of equipment is needed. In addition to the surgical equipment that doctors need, there are some other necessary equipment, such as lighting, these devices need to be placed around the operating table, but they cannot be taken by hand. The design criteria need to adhere to the following standards:
1. The power lines and air supply lines on medical pendant are not moved relative to the medical pendant body. This design ensures that the equipment on medical pendant will not fall off due to movement.
2. The load capacity of the medical pendant beam should not be less than 500 kg and must be able to withstand the weight of the equipment on the bridge pendant.
3. The main body of the medical pendant is very strong. The surface of medical pendant should be sprayed with imported high-pressure electrostatic powder, which can play the role of antibacterial and anti-corrosion. There should be night lights on the beam of the equipment. There should be no exposed screws on the main bod. The outer color should meet the requirements of the hospital.
