ABS hospital bed introduction

ABS hospital bed is a nursing bed with ABS head/feet board and guardrail. ABS is a two-phase heterogeneous polymer of resin phase (AS) and rubber phase (PS), terpolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. A represents acrylonitrile, B represents butadiene, and S represents styrene. This material has excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability and impact resistance of PC resin, and excellent processing fluidity of ABS resin. Used in thin-walled and complex-shaped articles can maintain its excellent properties, as well as to maintain the formability of plastics and materials composed of an ester.

ABS resin is currently the largest and most widely used polymer, it unifies the various properties of PS, SAN, and BS organically, and has excellent mechanical properties of toughness, hardness, and phase balance. The composition of the resin phase, the composition and ratio of the rubber phase, the compatibility of the rubber-resin interface, and the graft ratio all affect the properties of the resin.

AS component: Improves surface gloss, heat resistance, chemical resistance and processability, but decreases impact toughness.

PS component: improves elasticity and impact resistance, but has insufficient heat resistance and rigidity.

ABS resin combines the advantages of both components.
