The main raw materials for surgery
lights include cold-rolled steel plates, cold-rolled steel pipes,
and engineering plastics. In recent years, medical device manufacturers who
focus on the mid-to-high end market often use raw materials from high-quality

quality in the future.
Cold-rolled steel plate has the advantages
of high strength, good toughness, smooth surface and strong corrosion
resistance, therefore, it is widely used in surgical instruments such as
shadowless lamps that require high mechanical performance and appearance. If
hot rolled sheet is used in the production of shadowless
lamp, the appearance will appear stiff and rough, and it is more
likely to rust. At this stage, the stamping parts of most operating lights in China,
such as lampshades and spring arms, are made of domestically produced high
quality SPCC cold-rolled steel plates which are conforming to international
standards (JIS, DIN, ASM). This has also formed an industry standard to a
certain extent. What is even more gratifying is that this typical "Made in
China" model has gradually been recognized by the medical equipment
industry worldwide.
Cold-rolled steel tubes are mainly used in
the connecting device between the balance lamp and the lamp head, including
balance arm and lamp elbow fittings. These precision cold-rolled steel pipes
complying with international standards (JIS, DIN, ASM) are manufactured with
the advantages of smooth surfaces, clear ridge lines, and strong corrosion
resistance. It ensures the internal and external quality of operating light,
and reduces the occurrence of circuit short circuit, open circuit and poor
contact, and improves the stability of the circuit.
The engineering plastics used in OR lights
have the advantages of light weight, high mechanical performance, easy cleaning
and disinfection, and more human-friendly, therefore, it is also widely used in
various medical products. In the production of OT lights, most
motion-carrying parts use high-strength PA6 resin with 25% short glass fiber, important
appearance parts use ABS resin, rotary structural parts use POM with automatic
lubrication, other special requirements components use modified PP, PVC, PPO,
AES and other new materials, to ensure the excellent quality of surgery light.
